Welcome to the Story School Library.  We do many exciting things in our library; everything from Veterans Day Programs,  Special Readers, i-pad games, TACE and much more.  We hope you will join us and enjoy your time in the library!

Scholastic Book Fair was a great success with the library making over $1400.00 in Scholastic vouchers.  Thanks to everyone who helped out.

Story School is implementing a new reading program this semester called Book Adventure.  Students can read books and take tests to earn points for special treats and activities.

Hello.  My name is Candace Titlow and I have been the librarian at Story for eleven years. I recieved my teaching certification from UT Tyler and my masters degree from Texas Woman's University.  I have loved my time here and hope you love it as much as I do.
Story Library is open M-F from 7:30 to 3:20.  Students have open library to come in and renew or check out a new book in the morning from 7:30 to 8:00 or the afternoon from 3:00 to 3:20.
Wow!  Lots of new books have been added to the library this semester.  Some of your favorites include:  Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Getaway, Last Kids on Earth and the Nightmare King and Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Secret Crush Catastrophe.
Overdrive is access to all e-books that PISD has purchased.   To access overdrive, click on the overdrive icon,  login with  your student i.d. # and then go to elementary school and you may access the books we have on overdrive.  If there are more books you'd like to see on overdrive, please let Mrs. Titlow know and she will try to get them.  If you have a public library account, you may also access their books.
Our bookfair was a huge success with Story making $900 in profit and $180.00 in Scholastic dollars.
