Welcome to Mrs. Richmond's Head Start 3 class!  This is my 22nd year to teach and I am so thrilled to have your child in our class family at Washington ECC and look forward to helping him or her learn throughout the year.  I have been married for 25 years and have 3 children.

I will send home a newsletter each week to let you know what is happening in our class and at Washington.

**Sesame Street is a great show for children to watch on PBS, usually channel 13.  It helps them learn numbers, shapes, counting, letters, patterns, and more.

Here are some songs that we use in

class that you can pull up on youtube.

You will be so excited to hear your child

singing the songs we sing in class that

are helping him/her learn.  It is so fun!

*Mother Hen Months of the Year

   *Barney Days of the Week

   *Frog Street color songs

**If you have Netflix, there are wonderful programs that reinforce skills we are learning at school that will help them get ready for the 4 year old pre-k class, and build those pre-reading skills important for success in Kindergarten.  These programs include Word Party and Maya the Bee.
