Happy Presidents Day, everyone! Today we celebrate the inspiring leadership of America’s presidents—from George Washington and Abraham Lincoln to those who have followed in their footsteps. Originally established to honor George Washington’s birthday, this day has evolved into a time to reflect on the legacy and vision of all our nation’s leaders. Whether you’re taking a well-deserved break or reflecting on history, let’s appreciate the guiding principles that have shaped our country. Enjoy the day and celebrate the spirit of leadership! 💙🤍♥️

So…. WE WON!!!!! It’s still a little surreal but my kids did it! My teams placed 1st and 4th out of 31 teams!!!! My 4th place team had the highest score out of all the matches and my 1st place team beat the odds and won!!
How it works… teams are partnered up for multiple qualifying matches and try to get as many points as possible. Then they are ranked and get to pick alliances. Ten alliances are picked and they compete in quarterfinals, semifinals, and then finals.
After 62 qualifying matches the teams placed 3rd and 8th overall. My 3rd place team picked a team that was ranked pretty high while my 8th place team picked a team that was ranked 26th!!!! In the end, the 8th/26th team came in clutch and won! The other team did so good considering all the obstacle they faced! --Ms. Neugebauer, Robotics Instructor
