Palestine ISD recognized senior Madeleines Coe as October student of the month. Madeleine was joined by her family at the board meeting Monday evening as well as her teacher Mrs. Magee and PHS Principal Reeves.

Palestine ISD will have a staff/student holiday FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 and MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 in observance of Labor Day. Classes will resume at regular times on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5.


The Wildcat Nation is getting closer to flipping the switch for the FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!!!! Current season ticket holders, get your season tickets beginning July 31st-August 14. Remaining reserved season tickets will be up for purchase August 15th. Let's pack the stands Wildcat fans! Come by 1007 E. Park to get your tickets!!!!!!


The Palestine Wildcats will be participating in their first scrimmage of the season this FRIDAY, August 11th against Hallsville.
JV and Freshman start at 5:00 followed by the Varsity (around 6:15)
We are designating this as the Wildcat Nation's "Our Day to Shine" Scrimmage.
Admission is free but we will give attendees the opportunity to donate to the Texas High School Coaches Association's Benevolence fund.
The THSCEF Benevolence fund was established by the Texas High
School Coaches Association Board of Directors to assist athletes and coaches experiencing hardships. To date over 1,165 schools have participated in OUR DAY TO SHINE and have raised over
$721,000.00. The THSCEF has paid over $641,000.00 to athletes and
coaches in need.
We will have someone at the gates that will accept donations for anyone wanting to donate.
This day has become known as OUR DAY TO SHINE.

2024 Senior Parking Permits and Parking Spot Paint Day is HERE!
If you would like to personalize your Senior Parking Spot, come by PHS front office and pick up the Senior Parking Space contract, guidelines and artwork guidelines.

Completed forms, contracts and fees must be submitted
by 4:30 pm, Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
Your design must be completed in color on the design sketch form and must be exactly what you plan to paint on your space. ~~If approved, you must paint on the approved day and times.
Senior Paint Times will be
Friday, August 4th from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM & 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Your design must be submitted for approval to the PHS front office
by 4:30 pm, Tuesday, August 1, 2023 **along with payment**
All student parking permit guidelines must be followed


Another BIG WILDCAT NATION event you don't want to miss. MEET THE WILDCATS--AUGUST 14th @ 6:30 at the PHS Competition Gym. ALL FALL sport participants will be there for you to meet!


Current and new substitutes for the upcoming year will have their annual orientation meeting August 9, 9:00 a.m. in the Palestine ISD Administration Board Room at 1007 E. Park.
Your attendance at this meeting is required in order to substitute teach for PISD. There is new information regarding benefits to substitute teachers we must provide. Also, this is the best opportunity available for us to disseminate the the important aspects and expectations for the duties of a substiture teacher. It is also the time to address any questions or concerns you may have. So that we may prepare for the meeting, please call Marilyn at 903-731-8061 to let us know if you will attend.
